DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead and manage Operational Excellence projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and performance tracking.

•Facilitate project planning sessions with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and performance goals.

•Apply continuous improvement tools and Cummins Operating standards to drive manufacturing excellence on shop floor.

•Identify and mitigate project risks using quality tools and cross-functional collaboration.

•Coach and guide team members through project stages, providing developmental feedback and support.

•Coordinate with global business and functional leaders to set plant maturity goals and execute improvement roadmaps.

•Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and complex manufacturing problem-solving.

•Share learnings across teams and contribute to the development of subject-matter expertise within the plant.

•Champion continuous and step-change improvement efforts aligned with customer and business needs.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.

Relevant certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies are a plus.

•This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including manufacturing or manufacturing plant experience, team leadership experience, preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.

•Proven track record of applying continuous improvement tools and methodologies.

Skills

•Deep understanding of continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
