Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient database solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relational databases, particularly Oracle and MS-SQL, with expertise in complex PL/SQL programming and database triggers. This role involves working closely with development teams to ensure optimal database performance, integrity, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for Oracle and MS-SQL environments.
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL and T-SQL queries to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, dictionaries, and design specifications.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions with various applications.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability through best practices and established procedures.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Assist in database deployment and migration activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3- 6 years of proven experience as a Database Developer with strong proficiency in Oracle and MS-SQL.
- Expertise in writing and optimizing complex PL/SQL and T-SQL.
- In-depth understanding of database triggers, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Solid knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, and schema design.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with shell scripting for automation and database administration tasks.
